About us
The World Optometry Foundation (WOF) is a complementary, not-for-profit corporation established to finance projects that foster self-sufficiency and long-term independence among developing nations.We work to upgrade optometric education,augment primary eye care and prevent visual impairment.
WOF helps to combat the harsh realities and desperate need for international eye care. All of the funds raised by WOF are used to support World Council of Optometry programs and projects — for the advancement and development of Vision-Care, Eye-Care and Eye Health worldwide.
