Global Commission on Opthalmic Standards
This commitee approves the Global Seal in certain Opthalmic-related products conform to established, recognised and accepted standards or, when established, recognised and accepted standards do not exist or do not fully meet the requirements of the Global Commission on Ophthalmic Standards (GCOS), it is determined that a product meets specifications developed and adopted by GCOS.
