This is your opportunity, as a member of WCO, to influence its future strategy and policy. In the wonderful surroundings of the Conrad Condado Plaza hotel, members will have the opportunity to join in with WCO Standing Committee debates on topics that affect optometry throughout the world.

WCO Standing Commitee meetings will take place on Wednesday 13 April and on Thursday 14 April the WCO Governing Board will meet. The General Delegates Meeting on Friday 15 April provides all WCO members with an opportunity to shape the strategic direction of WCO.

This will be followed by the opening of the COPR Conference, and a Welcome Reception with a Caribbean theme at Brisas del Mar (photo) for WCO and COPR delegates.

On Saturday 16 April COPR will host a Reception and Gala Dinner for WCO and COPR members. WCO members will have free access to the COPR’s own conference sessions on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April.

And all this for the reasonable cost of $500, to include:

• Attendance at 2 days of WCO meetings, with refreshments and buffet lunch on Wednesday and Friday

• Attendance at 2 days of COPR’s conference with refreshments and buffet lunch on Saturday and Sunday

• Possible participation in a Special Olympic screening programme (TBC)

• Visit to the School of Optometry

• Locally themed Welcome Reception on Friday

• Reception and Gala Dinner on Saturday
