Call for Abstracts for Chicago 2012

Advancing Optometry Worldwide, the World Council of Optometry’s next international conference, will be held in Chicago, USA, from Sunday 24 June to Tuesday 26 June 2012.
The WCO is now calling for abstracts for poster presentations that relate to the conference theme ‘Advancing Optometry Worldwide’.
Possible topics for abstracts could include the following:
- Scope of practice in the WCO regions
- Delivery of optometric care within countries and regions
- Responding to external influences on optometry such as legislative changes and national, regional and global initiatives
- Examples of current optometry programmes and curricula
